In BNI we need leaders, we change our Leadership Teams every six months, and our new leaders aren’t born, they are made when they join the Leadership Team.
Being on the Leadership Team is an opportunity to learn to lead, to learn about BNI, to give back, to contribute to the chapter’s success and to take your turn.
Carrying on a Legacy

Our chapter has been built on the shoulders of the leaders who have gone before. Our new leadership team has the opportunity to build it further, to make it more successful. We can learn from their successes and their mistakes. We honour our past leaders when we step forward.
Enough Already
Ok, that’s laid it on thick enough. Our leadership team does change on October 1st and right now our President and BNI Director Consultant will be looking for the right team to lead our chapter for the next 6 months. You might feel you are too busy but so is everyone else, or that you don’t have the skills, it is too soon or maybe next time. If you are asked, think seriously: if not you then who.
Being on the Leadership Team increases your Visibility and if you do a good job it increases your Credibility as well as helping everyone by making the chapter more successful.
(Now is a good time to speak of your experience or ask a former President how they enjoyed the role and express how it’s not as time consuming as people might think)
