Recently the Te Awamutu and Cambridge chapters of BNI held a charity event at the Olde Creamery Café in Ohaupo to raise funds for Breast Cancer and Hospice. The theme was ‘pink’ and that it was! Attended by approximately 130 women the event raised over $2500 which was shared between the two charities. Lily’s of Te Awamutu showcased the latest fashions for the upcoming summer season, Capelli Hair Studio of Cambridge transformed two of the models with a complete makeover and Evolve-U added the finishing touches with makeup. It was a night of hilarity with three gorgeous ‘maidens’ who were the waitresses for the evening and Adina from Belarus who sold all the quick-fire raffles and they’ll all be back by popular demand next year. This will now become an annual event on the BNI calendar.
