Hospice Awareness Week 2023: It’s ok to talk about it…

BNI® goes beyond networking – we contribute to the community

•Since 2007, BNI® New Zealand and Hospice NZ have proudly stood together as national partners, working together to help ensure hospice care remains free of charge for New Zealanders with a life limiting illness.

•Our partnership has gone from strength to strength, and $3 million has been raised for hospices nationwide thanks to BNI’s generosity and ongoing commitment to the work of Hospice.

•In 2022 BNI and their members raised nearly $331,000. The money raised by BNI members through golf days, comedy nights, raffles, themed nights and much, much more, is donated to their local hospice.

Please show Your support for Hospice this week during Hospice Awareness Week

•It’s okay to talk about it.

•It’s ok to ask for help.

•It’s okay to be at home.

•It will be ok.

•You might like to share your story at BNI this morning.

•Some of you might be able to help by spreading the word on your social platforms this week.

•A canned goods or biscuit drive at your chapter meeting – proceeds to your local Hospice.

•Donating paper or stationary to our local hospice…

•What else can you add here?

Share your story

Many BNI members have had powerful experiences personally through their own loved ones being cared for by their local hospice. Often this helps to strengthen your chapters affinity to their local hospice even more.
