Yesterday I attended a joint chapter meeting between Albany & Takapuna chapters to celebrate the success of their joint fundraising activity. In what is now looking at becoming an annual event – Bob Quaid (MW Cleaning Services) and his team recently held a charity auction to raise money for North Shore Hospice. This was a great example of what can be done when BNI chapters work together at putting on an event and also of the leverage that can be achieved when members tap into their wider networks. Many thanks to Mercedes Benz North Shore for the use of their showroom and to all those who donated items for the auction.
