and announces Visitors Day on 22nd March Bill Raynel to support networking business group in growing Warkworth
Northland, Monday 27 February, 2017–Business networking group BNI Warkworth, which generated $673,321 in business last year, is reaching out to businesses needing structured networking support with the continued growth of businesses moving into the Warkworth and the Mahurangi area. To enable this, the group will hold a Visitors Day on Wednesday March 22nd for businesses to attend their meeting.
Further, BNI New Zealand has appointed Bill Raynel as the new BNI Director Consultant for BNI Warkworth. As an Authorised Financial Adviser and owner of Investment Solutions Northland Ltd, Bill has 20 years of involvement in business and his new role will allow him to mentor and support other businesspeople.
BNI Warkworth President and local businesswoman Lynn Hailes, Owner of Hailes & Associates Limited, Chartered Accountants & Business Advisors, says Bill’s business knowledge will be a major asset in his new role assisting businesspeople in Warkworth to grow and gain business. “BNI is a fantastic support system for businesses and this year we are looking to expand BNI Warkworth and add new businesses.”
“I was in business for 14 years before I joined BNI as a member,” Bill notes. “My experience in BNI over the last six years has been fantastic; I’m passionate about the benefits it brings to business and am sure my first-hand experience can now assist other businesses. For new businesses coming into Warkworth, BNI presents a great opportunity to be introduced and connect with the business community and gain business through referrals.”

Lynn says the group was established in 2002. This year they are looking to bring in more Mahurangi based businesses (which would include Matakana and Leigh) in addition to those in Warkworth.
As the group only allows one representative from each industry, they are looking to add businesspeople from the following trades: signwriter/graphic designer/printer, resource planner/surveyor, mechanic, gym operator, hairstylist, health professionals, interior designer, handyman, landscape designer, marketing consultant, as well as other businesses.
The group meets weekly on Wednesday 7am at Bowls Warkworth, 9-11 Mill Lane.
