BNI’s new Business Boosters series

by BNI New Zealand

This week I would like to talk to you about BNI’s new Business Booster series.  This is a brand-new initiative from BNI Global Support Team designed to support and help BNI members around the world find their way through this current period of uncertainty. They comprise discussions and presentations around a variety of topics to include business continuity and personal & professional connectivity.  Each session lasts for 50 minutes – 30 minutes of presentation followed by 20 mins of open Q&A.  In NZ – the sessions are at 2am! – however don’t worry – they are all being recorded and can be accessed on BNI University.

The seminars will be delivered by a selection of thought leaders and senior executives in BNI from across the globe. The first session was by Dr Ivan Misner – the founder and Chief Visionary Officer of BNI and entitled “You Don’t Have to Stop Networking, Just Do it Differently”. The next session is by Graham Weihmiller – the CEO of BNI Global and is entitled – “The 5 C’s to Confidentially Navigate COVID-19”.  After that we have a panel on “Conducting Meaningful One to One’s and Building Relationships During a Time of Social Isolation’ – by Jessica Gomplewicz–Milot, National Director of BNI France in collaboration with Jonathan Chua of BNI Singapore and facilitated by the BNI Director of Global Training, Gina Herald.

BNI is so much more than a great way to grow your business; it’s a consistent pillar of support in times of celebration and challenge. When our lives are impacted by unexpected events, it’s comforting to know that our BNI family is there to give personal support in ways that have nothing to do with business but are in the spirit of Givers Gain®.

If you are looking for a business networking group to get referrals and grow your business, then BNI is a great place to be. We did over $400,000 in business in referrals last year and are growing the group. When you visit the group, you’ll see why most members have been in the group for a long time. It’s fun, friendly, and has been proven to work. We meet every Wednesday at the Brookdale senior living center in Monroe at 7:m. Visit this Wednesday for a free continental breakfast and great company!
