Thanks Christchurch for making the Nurse Maude Black Tie Charity Event on Saturday indeed live up to being a night of fun, fine dining and fundraising for a great cause.
Christchurch BNI members and others who generously purchased tickets to the fundraiser for Nurse Maude Hospice made it a roaring success. Near $16,000 was raised!
We would also like to thank all the businesses and Hospice New Zealand Partners and Supporters who donated thousands of dollars’ worth of auction items for the event. An Ivan Button painting of pre-earthquake Worcester St in Christchurch reached $1800 in a bid, a heat pump package donated by D & M Solutions reached over $2k and there were many more outstanding bids.
Of course, thanks must go out to the BNI team members for their event and marketing efforts – Alison Poulter and her team and Hannah Blake – another prime example of BNIers giving back.
We’ll keep you posted with further news when the funds raised are presented to the team at Nurse Maude Hospice.
We’re buzzing… it was a collaborative event between Nurse Maude Hospice and BNI NZ and we’re excited to get the ball rolling for 2015.
