MEDIA RELEASE: Northland, Tuesday May 5 2017–Business networking group BNI Warkworth, which generated $673,321 in business last year, recently reached out to SMBs needing structured networking support as businesses move into the Warkworth and the Mahurangi area. The group held a very successful Visitors Day for new businesses to attend their meeting.
Bill Raynel, BNI Director Consultant for BNI Warkworth, said there were 15 new businesses who came along to their special Visitors Day meeting. “It was a very energetic meeting with our existing members making some fantastic new contacts with the many new businesses who came along to see how we operate at BNI,” Bill says. “It was a real eye opener for our existing members in terms of showing them how many keen business people are out there looking to network.”
BNI Warkworth President and local businesswoman Lynn Hailes, Owner of Hailes & Associates Limited, Chartered Accountants & Business Advisors, says everyone had a fabulous time at the special event. Susan Vize, who owns the award-winning Chocolate Brown Cafe and Chocolate Shop with her partner Des, brought a sweet selection of samples to the meeting as part of her presentation at the meeting.
Lynn notes that one of BNI’s strengths is the ability to get to know other businesses (and their products) on a deeper level, which helps enormously when you are making business referrals. “BNI presents a great opportunity to be introduced and connect with the business community and gain business.
