Hawkes Bay chapters work together for hospice

by Colin Kennedy

HawkesBayPhotoThe combined efforts of the three Hawke’s Bay Chapters – BNI Hawkes Bay, BNI Hastings and BNI Wine Country – recently yielded a donation of $2,466.35 for the Cranford Hospice.

BNI Hawke’s Bay Chapter event coordinator (EC), Frank Heuser, said the chapter had invited the hospice to take the ten minute slot at a meeting in June, and took the opportunity to invite the other BNI chapters in the area.

“It was opportunity to present a cheque to our local hospice for $2,466.35, which was fundraised by all 3 chapters in Hawkes Bay.

“We are obviously delighted to raise this amount and support our beloved local Hospice, furthermore, to assist in the success of a forthcoming event this August where Patron Jo Seager will be a drawcard. All members of our region will to be involved to support this event. Its about building better relationships and communities,” said Frank.
