One of BNI’s core values involves celebrating success. Recognising the successes of our amazing individual members elevates everybody involved in our organisation. This lends well to BNI New Zealand proudly being a partner of the awards that celebrate business success – The David Awards.
Feedback from the award judges (which include Glenn Baker the editor of NZBusiness magazine) could be reason enough to enter, to improve and help grow your business.
The recognition you get from awards is gold. Deadlines close in just over a month’s time …31st July
What are The David Awards?
The David Awards is the only non-industry-specific national awards programme specifically targeting SMEs throughout New Zealand. Now in their 10th year, the awards recognise those unsung heroes at the smaller end of the business scale who form the backbone of the New Zealand economy, taking on the “Goliaths” and often punching well above their weight in doing so.
BNI’s history at The David Awards
Numerous BNI members have been finalists and winners at The David Awards over the years. 2015’s Supreme Award winner was a BNI member from Christchurch who was also awarded Most Outstanding Fledgling Business and Most Community-Minded Business. Last year Dr Tom Vaughan, Chiropractor of Boost Chiropractic and member of BNI Warkworth, was the winner of the “Most outstanding lifestyle business category”.
BNI New Zealand is proud to sponsor “The BNI most outstanding established business” category.
The categories at the awards?
There are 9 separate categories. You can enter up to 3 separate categories (all on the same form). Individuals may enter more than one business (just use a separate entry form for each business). The winners of each category all become nominees for the Supreme Award.

- Most outstanding triumph over adversity
- Most outstanding lifestyle business
- The NZBusiness Most innovative business
