Like many of you I have followed the news from Australia and more recently watched the skies over Auckland turn orange – I am saddened at the devastation and destruction that is taking place and wanted to find a way of supporting our neighbours.
There are of course a number of fundraising opportunities already in place – and many of you will already have reached out with individual offers of support. As an organisation BNI New Zealand has decided to support WIRES – (Wildlife Information, Rescue and Education Service) an agency that rescues and cares for native animals. WIRES gets 98% of its funding from community support and we feel that this is going to be an organisation that will be particularly grateful for any funds received.

Thanks Graham, it is truly devastating. What a great choice, this organisation is doing some amazing work in such devastating circumstances.
