MEDIA RELEASE: Northland, Tuesday 26th July 2016 – To help support businesses looking to grow in the Northland region, Bill Raynel has been appointed as the new BNI Director Consultant for the Northland Region. He will take responsibility for six business groups in the Northland region, with currently 122 businesses involved. Five of these groups are in Whangarei (BNI B’Nspired, BNI Late, BNI Northland and BNI Riverside, BNI Whangarei) and the other BNI Bay of Islands.
These groups are part of the wider network of BNI New Zealand, the country’s largest structured business networking organisation for small to medium businesses which supports grass roots and start-up businesses in New Zealand.
As an Authorised Financial Adviser and owner of Investment Solutions Northland Ltd, Bill has been advising the public on the placement of investments since 1997. In his 20 years of involvement with the investment industry, he has learned a great deal about the needs of his clients and the wider business community.
This new role will allow him to mentor and support other businesspeople – many of whom are in the same position he was many years ago when he started his business.
“I was in business for 14 years before my business joined BNI as a member,” Bill notes. “My experience in BNI over the last six years has been fantastic; I’m passionate about the benefits it brings to business and am sure my first-hand experience can now assist other businesses.”
Graham Southwell, National Director for BNI NZ, says, “As a local based in Whangarei, Bill’s business knowledge will be a major asset in his new role to help our members in the region grow and gain business. He was instrumental in launching his current BNI group BNI B’Nspired and with his appointment we are adding depth, experience and talent to our team of Director Consultants around the country.”
