Trees Please!

by BNI New Zealand

kauri.JPG  I recently came across these great Corporate Gifts – produced here in New Zealand.  If you are looking for a gift that is a little different, you might like to think about giving a baby native tree!  The trees are between 25cm and 30cm in height and come in wooden planters which can be printed with your company logo and the entire package can be delivered Nationwide by courier.

Produced by “Trees Please” – www.nztreesplease.com  the products give a total environmental package and includes a range of natives trees to include Kauri,  Pohutukawa and Rimu.  Each tree has full growing instructions and a copper tag for labeling with dates and other details.  All materials used are recyclable, recycled, or renewable. Any wood used in packaging has come from plantation grown pine. Nothing has been spared in the care of the environment.

So rather than give a bottle of champagne as a “thank you” to your clients or customers – why not give these a try!

PS Don’t tell them – but your BNI Director will be recieving one of these as their end of the year “Thank You” present this year from BNI.

Another great gift idea is a gift certificate from http://www.kiva.org
Kiva enables you to make a loan to a specific entrepreneur in the developing world.

Kiva says they are “the world’s first person-to-person micro-lending website, empowering individuals to lend directly to unique entrepreneurs in the developing world. ”

Gift certificates start from $25 and the recipient of your certificate can decide which entrepreneur they’ve like to make the loan to.

Kiva is a brilliant example of ‘givers gain’ and changing the way the world does business

Hi Fiona,
This is great – I wonder if we shouldn’t post this as an article in its own right?
