Buy Local – Buy BNI

Who hasn’t finished their Christmas shopping and is struggling for ideas? Hands UP!

We know not everyone in New Zealand celebrates Christmas but by using a member to buy a gift at anytime of year helps to support that member!

Here is an idea. Instead of buying online from overseas, praying it turns up in time and isn’t 3 sizes too small, buy local.

Buying local supports local business far more than buying online from overseas.

$100 spent with a local business returns $68 to the local community compared to $43 with a chain and $0 on an online overseas platform.

And of course, buying your gifts from BNI chapter members supports businesses that are really close to home.

Come up with a Christmas or general gift offering from your business for your sales pitch NEXT WEEK.

It will be easy for some businesses to do this but think out of the box and come up with something from your business that will help your fellow BNI Members (and their referrals) with their Christmas gift giving for that hard to buy for person.

Have some fun with your ideas, act it out infomercial style, write a poem bring a prop or a price list.
