Drawing at BNI ….

by Richard Foulkes

By now we are all on week 2 or 3 of the “new normal” and hopefully everyone has had the opportunity to meet online through the new bni onlineTM system and see what a great way it is to meet remotely to share and support each other.

Now that the initial shock has eased and some routines and a new way of living are being established, let’s see if we can have some fun together online with the BNI Education Moment this week. You will need to remind your members to be ready with a pen and a piece of paper this week when they join you online this week.

Ask everyone to grab a pen and a piece of paper, if they don’t already have theirs ready.

This is a very simple team building exercise that should start the meeting off with everyone laughing. Just watch that it keeps to time.

First up, you need to get everyone to have a blank piece of paper and a pen.

Then you need to, without telling them what it is, describe, the picture on the next slide, so they can draw it themselves.
For instance you might tell them to start at the middle of the top of the page and draw a diagonal line down at 45 degrees for 5 centimetres then a straight line to the right for 5 centimetres etc.

Try not to say draw a triangle or circle.

Once everyone is done you can move to the next slide and ask everyone to reveal their drawings and see if they look like what you described…..

Reveal this picture and ask everyone to show their pictures!

See who got the closest to what you tried to describe.
