Two new Assistant Directors join the fold

by BNI New Zealand

adinfosession.JPG  I am pleased to announce that we have appointed two new Assistant Directors to join the team here in Auckland.  Fraser Calvert – from the Titirangi chapter and Mariska Mannes from the Albany chapter have both accepted the roles and will be taking up their positions later this month.  Seen here is a photograph of the Information Session we held last week regarding these positions and as you can see we received tremendous interest with 25 people attending – 12 of whom subsequently submitted applications.

I would like to thank everyone who took the time to come along and also to acknowledge those who were not able to join us and were therefore not able to participate this time.  The level of interest and quality of applicants was inspiring and I am looking forwards to having Fraser and Mariska on the team.

The information session had a lot of great participants with well polished presentations and certainly brought forward lots of good ideas of how to improve the BNI experience in NZ. I look forward to assisting the BNI Chapters in the coming year and meeting the members of the West Auckland groups.

Like Fraser, I also enjoyed the information session. It was interesting that many of us were thinking along the same lines on how to further develop BNI New Zealand. The discussion was positive and I was reminded of the calibre of members we have in BNI and how we all add to the success of BNI. I look forward to working with the BNI chapters in the future.
