Record Breaking Chapter opens in Bay of Islands

by BNI New Zealand

kerikerilaunch.JPG  Two weeks ago an information breakfast was held at the Keri Keri RSA club for a possible new chapter.  With Keri Keri being a four and a half hour drive – I told the organisers that they would need to have at least 15 signed applications before we could move forwards.   Well – a challenge is clearly something that Jacqueline Stevens of Business Coaching NZ Ltd responds to – as last week she rang me to say that she had 15 applications and was ready to go!  So yesterday I drove up to Keri Keri – and as you can see from the photo – this morning we had a great turnout for the inaugural meeting of the chapter.  The leadership team is now trained and ready to go – leaving me wondering what happened!  From information session to chartered chapter of 18 members and at least four more in the pipeline in two weeks – that is a record for BNI NZ and I am wondering if it is a record for the organisation as a whole!  So, what was the secret?  Well – apart from Jacqueline and her team, you would have to say that the support exhibited by Terry Sage of Business Coaching NZ Ltd and Jim Chambers of Absolute Recruitment from Northland chapter in  Whangarei – who travelled up for both meetings was “over and above” the call of duty – so a huge heads up to them and everyone involved in making the launch  a success.

Well done guys – Great Job!
