Hello Graham and Paul,
Last night I attended the Manukau Business Excellence Awards for the announcement of the Finalists.
Marguerite Howlett, Vice President of Manukau Chapter and owner of the The Renaissance School of Dance as was selected as a finalist in two categories
– Excellence in Emerging Business (5 finalists)
– Manukau City Councils Young Business Person of Year (2 finalists) . This is the first time this category has been included in the awards.
Marguerite was also a recipient of the BNI Entrepreneurs Support Programme (ESP Programme) and has been contacted this morning to have an article written on her in the NZ Business Magazine as well as other local various public relation promotions in regards to her selection.
This is the article about her on the bizawards website : Bizawards (with BNI being mentioned).
Regards
Maureen Collins
Manukau Chapter President.

We would like to congratulate Margueritte on this tremendous achievement.
When we first met her as an applicant under BNI’s Entrepreneur Support Programme we felt the enthusiasm and drive this young business woman had for her passion of dancing. Since this introduction she has not only flourished as a progressive business woman, but she has shown her willingness to adopt the “givers gain” philosophy of BNI.
We wish her every success in the growth of The Renaissance School of Dance and also in the final of the
Manukau Business Excellence Awards.
