Does BNI really work?

by BNI New Zealand

BNI UK has produced a video about BNI that is well worth the five minutes that it takes to view.  It contains footage from actual BNI members who come from a variety of professions and have been members for different lengths of time.  However, they have one thing in common—they have all greatly increased their businesses through BNI membership and they are more than happy to share their BNI success stories with others all over the world!

One thing that strikes me about the video – the Poms sure have lousy weather!

Liked the video clip.
I can empathise with the members on screen; we have been in BNI for 10 years and 60% of our bespoke software application jobs come through BNI. I am in 3 other networking organisations and BNI is the one that delivers the goods.

I looked into joining a BNI group and opted out because of how expensive it was. I decided to join TheBIZSociety.com because they offered alot more for your buck. They also already have a social networking platform.

BNI needs to update their marketing material and make their website more attractive. I was thinking about joining a group however I found a better referral organization in TheBIZSociety.com…they offer a lot more for not only businesses but consumers as well. They have a social networking platform also. The company really does give you more bang for your buck!

Great to see that we have some BNI naysayers from the US taking the time to add comments to the BNI NZ blog 🙂 From what I can see BizSociety.com is primarily an online community which might well be worth trying out although there does seem to be a ‘face to face’ networking element as well. Like so many American websites – they dont seem to realise that there is a world outside of the US and that not everyone has States and Zip codes but I managed to join up and will let you know how it works out 🙂

I have been in the BNI just 6 months and already have had sufficient business to cover my fee and more. I am now well into plus business. I also have networked onwards through my initial BNI contacts and this is proving successful too. But it all started through the contacts made through BNI. Does it work? Definitely !
