I would love to attend! As a new business starting out I need all the help I can get – to be inspired and motivated. I also welcome the opportunity of meeting other business people to network and spread the BNI goodness around.

Wow I would love the opportunity to go to the Time Convention as it looks like a great line up of 22 of some of the worlds most motivated people. Couple this along with the business minded people who are attending in the audience and the whole experience will be just dynamite. Im sure I would learn heaps out of this experience and by the end of the convention be fired up and ready to let loose. To quote a very famous band indeed with a little help from my friend -“Please please me wo yeah” please please pick me.

I would dearly love to attend Time.
A shot of motivation right now would make the world of difference to me and my business.
Finger crossed.

I would sooo totally LOVE to attend this convention! Being a complete ‘newbie’ to running my own business from home, I am determined to do whatever it takes to make my new venture a complete success. When I saw the TIME Conference advertised a few weeks ago, I thought to myself, that’s exactly what I need to get me even more motivated and learn a few tricks of the business world. Unfortunately, I missed out on the ‘early bird’ conference price and the full cost of the convention is slightly higher than I can afford. I even have a big circle around the date on my calendar… just in case I managed to get some spare cash in the meantime!
Thanks very much for this opportunity!

i would like to attend this event because i am at this stage of my career to really give it a crack! I am so eager to learn new information and skills, expand my horizons, and network with successful people. i am a very curious person, wanting to know what is really going on in the world, the real insights not just what is being broadcasted on television. I would like to have a good peek at this world before i die. 🙂

I would love to attend the TIME convention as I believe doing business and running organisations will be all about inspirational and engaging leadership during this century. We need courageious leadership at all levels of all organisations as we are moving into an era when success will not just be measured in bottom line profits alone, but how we as individuals within business will be measured on the accountablity for the impact we will have on society and the global environment. To do this we need a shift in thinking – to do that we need great leaders. Events such as TIME will help give rise to inspirational leadership in our communites.

There are two big reasons why I would LOVE to attend ‘time’.
Firstly, sometimes even when you are doing all you can to
get ahead in your choosen field, it just feels like a losing battle.Training, inspiration, motivation and empowerment sounds like just what I need to conquer at the moment.
Secondly, being in the health industry, having Lee Parore on the speakers list is a bonus and I have just been given a copy of John Shackletons book ‘life is for living’ which Im always too tired to read cause Im always working ( how ironic) , all arrows point to Ellerslie Convention Centre for me!!!!!

After more than 7 years of BNI, I would love to get a shot of ” Vitamins”: Motivation to keep on motivating and helping my chapter members to gain in these times more than ever. Our own company could use help, too, of course and this would be just what we need. Thanx for the chance and hope to see you there!

I would very much appreciate the opportunity to attend this years event as it is a wonderful opportuity to learn some extremely valuable skills from some of the most influential international motivational coaches.

As any person aspiring to run there own business and be a better employee, like myself, I believe all the advice and skills these individual speakers can provide will make me a better employee and employer in the long run.

Mike Lloyd 20 October 2009 - 2:48 pm

I am prepared to spend as much time as is necessary in order to become better at what I do. There are many reasons for procrastinating but I have been told that”not having time”……shouldn’t be one of them. It would be an honour to attend this annual event and I would love to be considered for tickets.

Jim Fisher 20 October 2009 - 3:04 pm

I am going to meetings where the purpose is to get their “input” on something. The aim of this event is to “Train, Inspire, Motivate and Empower New Zealand’s businesspeople”. I am a business women ccoming from different business culture, and To succeed I have to attend this event.

Judi Bond from A2Z Data Ltd 20 October 2009 - 3:40 pm

The TIME business motivation event would be a real boost to my business and to me on a personal level.
After running my business alone for the past 9 years I need all the motivational help I can get.
I have been a member of BNI for 9 years and this has helped me enormously but there is always room for more networking opportunities and ideas from others.
I’m sure to learn things that I can pass on to others in the true ‘GIVERS GAIN” spirit of how we operate.
I would really appreciate the opportunity to attend this event.

Hi there, what an opportunity I couldn’t resist! I am a trainer and am a founder and current President of the New Zealand Glass Bead artists. I would dearly love the opportunity to be motivated in both training and in leadership as both these apsects are required of me and the future of wearable glass art in New Zealand. It would be an honour to attend and I would use what I learn to motivate, inspire and train New Zealanders in wearable glass, aiming to create a sustainable future for lampwork glass art in NZ.

George Rota - The Interface Financial Group 20 October 2009 - 5:45 pm

I would love to take part and attend the convention. I have checked my diary and it is clear.

The reason I would love to attend is based on my mentor’s advice – he said;

“..George – you must set goals each year to improve on your philosophy, thinking and your vision for your business; your health; your relationships and your wealth… why?… for what it will make of you to achieve it…you must work harder on yourself than on your job”

My mentor continued – “..you see George a formal education will earn you a living – a self education will earn you a fortune. Personal Success is attracted by the person you become – it’s in the “becoming”. So in order to make yourself attractive; to have all the influence you want; to become sophisticated; to become powerful; to become skilful – you’ve got to go to the classes; you’ve got to read the books; you’ve got to attend the seminars and you’ve got to get to the conventions.”

My mentor didn’t stop there…he inspired me by saying the following which is emblazoned upon my consciousness;
Don’t wish that things were easier – wish that you were better…
Don’t’ wish for less problems – wish for more skills…
Don’t wish for less challenges – wish for more wisdom”

I hope I am selected in order to honour the advice and so become more; to offer more and to serve many more of my fellow countrymen. That is my promise.

I am gratefully yours at your service.

I think you should all come along to the event – it’s going to be a brilliant experience and I can’t wait to speak there.

Sophia Elise 20 October 2009 - 8:07 pm

I think this sums it up why everyone needs to attend TIME – Working alone in my business I need all the help I can get to view my business from different angles so that it can grow even bigger and brighter I need the floodlight that TIME offers – “TIME is that floodlight for businesses. It shines light all around the cave and gives business owners and managers the opportunity to see different routes, potential challenges and future trends – all invaluable pieces of information” – Stuart Macklin

Steven Briggs 20 October 2009 - 9:04 pm

Richard Foulkes 20 October 2009 - 9:05 pm

my guys really need me to go.

Tibor Mackor 20 October 2009 - 11:09 pm

I think that this would be a great opportunity to meet many new people to add to my network. They could potentially be interested in my services and also be BNI members going forward. I think that it will be a great event to attend so as to listen to some quality speakers and hear how I can do business better for me and my clients.

Tony Wilson 21 October 2009 - 6:16 am

My team needs me to go as I need to learn some new leadership tricks. Myself and the guys are becomming a little stale. As we operate out in the provinces and receive very few words of encouragement, a good shot empowerment is just the boost I need to get the branch to the next level.

Opportunity… it doesn’t discrimnate,
it doesn’t tell you in advance it’s arrived,
it never arrives when we expect it,
it comes disguised in many forms,
often times we can’t see it even though it’s staring us in the face,
we never know what it migt cost, let alone how to value it and,
least of all, we almost always regret that we didn’t take it up when we should or could have!

This has got to ge a great opportunity… I better make use of it because I never know where it could lead to!

Let me in please.

Problem: Only 5 tickets!
Solution: Pick me and I can share my experience with all 19 members of my BNI group.

Knowledge is best shared.

Jo Gill - Life Insurance Adviser,Gill and Co Ltd 21 October 2009 - 11:58 am

This sounds like a fabulous opportunity for somebody just like me!

I am new in my business and having started a very successful and growing BNI Business Boomers group mid year, I am increasingly aware of how invaluable it is for like-minded people to network together. I especially like the “Giver’s Gain” aspect of BNI and believe that this is an important formula to live by, not only in business but also personally.

Should I be successful in securing a ticket to this wonderful day, I will not only be looking at what I can take away with me but also what I can contribute and give to it.

Kirsty McNeill 21 October 2009 - 2:57 pm

With a zippy attitude to business and a burning desire to be inspired by your speakers, I am the ideal candidate for your TIME convention. To be able to be part of the convention will be of a huge benefit to myself, my clients, my colleagues and my BNI friends in your southernmost BNI Chapter…….
Give me a ticket, and my chapter will gain!

Allan Clark 21 October 2009 - 3:45 pm

I would thoroughly enjoy the opportunity to attend this seminar as one can never attend enough of these and they contribute to continued the learning process. I would also share the knowledge learnt with my BNI chapter in order to further advance the members learning. Givers give…………..Cheers & thanks for the opportunity, Allan

john cook 22 October 2009 - 6:44 am

It is all about givers gain.
By attending and be engaged by the various keynote speakers would allow me to pass on their gems of wisdom and key points .
Another interest is to use them as examples of how they have differentiated themselves from others in the similar categories in their speaking businesses.

Miles Ashworth 22 October 2009 - 10:50 am

To take time out from the day to day running of my business and focus on the future would be great.

I know I have some big challenges ahead and looking through the schedule of the day there is plenty of information I could use to take my business to the next level and beyond.

Living a little out of Auckland, sometimes we miss out on finding out what is really going on in the economy. The opportunity to meet a variety of people and network them would complement the training to give me a much better persepctive of where things are headed.

Ian Marsh 22 October 2009 - 10:51 am

We are a progressive business and always try to take full advantage of any advice we can obtain. We believe that this would be an ideal opportunity to help develop and grow our business so that we can profit and our BNI partners can gain from us with new referals from our expanding contacts.

Ulrike Uslar 22 October 2009 - 5:22 pm

Attending a conference of this caliber would give me the opportunity to really immerse myself in the business sector’s mindset. As someone who is new to BNI – and just been asked to take on a position in the leadership team – I truly need all the education and inspiration I can muster.

Sandra Newton 26 October 2009 - 4:13 pm

Like others, having recently started our business and joined BNI this kind of motivation and advise would be well utilised. Having access to the wisdom and experience of business leaders is extremely valuable and not often available to small businesses.
And as a twist to the BNI philosophy of giver’s gain – if I get to go (and therefore GAIN) I gain GIVE back to my chapter by sharing with my fellow members everything I learnt and maximising the benefit!
