A Taste of Honey

by BNI New Zealand

A number of people have been asking me how our bee’s are coming along – so I guess that it is time for a quick update.  You may recall that we took delivery of our first hive a few months ago now – and that after a settling in period – Kerry came back checked how they were doing and gave us our first sample of honey.  Well, we now have two hives – and just before Christmas we were treated to our first taste of home produced, Titirangi honey.  Seen below is a series of photographs to give you an idea of what was involved:

If anyone reading this is interested in renting a hive of their own – feel free to contact Kerry and see if this is going to work for your area
