Growing service industry behind local surge in networking

by BNI New Zealand

Press Release

From: BNI Feilding

7 November 2010

The recent launch of BNI Feilding – by a local group of small business owners who meet weekly to pass business referrals to each other – points to a growing service industry in the region.

Currently with 13 members, BNI Feilding is looking for new members such as a photographer, website designer, graphic artist, printer and public relations practitioner.

Feilding chapter president and local businessman Jason Smith (of PC Insurance) says the weekly meeting is a reminder to get outside his business and think about working on the business rather than in it.

“It helps me to see things from something other than my own point of view. One of our members likens it to monthly visits from a business coach. It triggers me into action.”

BNI Feilding meets every Wednesday at 7am at Robert Harris, Manchester Square, in Feilding.

They can also contact the local regional director Niki Gunning on 06 3569868.
