A few weeks back we dipped briefly into Visibility and Credibility and how being Visible and Credible in the Chapter can lead to Profitability.
A quick recap on VCP, Visibility is when other members know who you are and clearly understand what you do, Credibility is when other members know you are good at what you do, you represent value (you’re not cheap) and are good to deal with. This means, if you are in an industry that has demand (not DVD sales for instance) you are referable and likely to receive referrals.
However, your Visibility and Credibility will not be at the same level at the same time with every member of the chapter. Why? Differing personalities, differing values, time spent together, good or indifferent interactions and correct or incorrect assumptions all affect your VCP with individual members.
Critical Success Factors
Let’s have a quiz! We are all on the same team for this quiz.
Put your hand up if you have one of the 101 critical success factors in BNI that add to your Visibility and Credibility (and that take away from Visibility and Credibility if they aren’t present behaviours).
I’ll cross the suggestions off the list BNI has produced, I’ve got chocolate fish for every answer on their list and for any good suggestions that BNI hasn’t thought of.
