Are you still learning?

by Sara Leadbetter

In business, if you’re not continually learning, you’re not even standing still, you’re going backwards.

Times change, technology changes, the economy changes, your competition changes and yet many business owners, don’t continually look to change themselves or their business and then wonder why their business is no longer as successful as it was or as is should be.

Many local councils and a multitude of private companies provide business training. In Christchurch, the Canterbury Development Corporation (CDC) makes it easy for you. They provide business development classes and workshops covering all aspects of running a business. The best bit? They’re FREE! If you want to improve your sales skills, learn how to best market your business, how to survive the poor economic times, even how to raise funding or manage staff, there will be a course for you.

For more information on their free courses in Christchurch, click on this link:

Every region in New Zealand has courses available. So, ask yourself the question “Am I still learning?”. If the answer’s no and you want a better business, look around at what’s available and book yourself on a course now.

Wow! How nice, wish I was a Kiwi!

We don’t have such facilities here.

How lucky, and equally foolish if anyone in business do not leverage on these courses. And benefit from the networking, too!
