Hazel, the world would have a lot less accidents and messes if we could own up and be in integrity and take ownership for our deeds.
What makes it so hard? The quick 'fast food' method, just refer, jump up the numbers and 'who cares about the quality' is indeed something we need to unlearn.
BNI is a great place to support playing with integrity and what is more, the immediate amazing results that that will create, will be for everybody to see.
Who is the first, to go for quality and not quantity, what a challenge.

So true Hazel - one of my pet "hates" in BNI and in life is people who don't take responsibility for their actions. It is almost childlike - "its not my fault" - they say/imply. If we are able to shoulder the responsibility for what we have done/said/not done - maybe we can move forwards and grow in the process. If not - life has a habit of moving us around in a full circle and we get to face the same challenge over and over again!
