Good for you Kenn! For anyone wanting to take a risk on a smaller scale - getting involved with the running of a BNI chapter is a great opportunity for self development and to create new opportunities. To run a chapter requires a different style of leadership - unlike running a business, you have no real authority in a Leadership Team position in a BNI chapter - and yet if you can learn to stand in your own authority, confident in the support of those who assist you in the role and with the trust of your BNI director - you can make some monumental shifts. (Yes - I know, it is leadership team selection time right now - however this truly is a real opportunity for anyone looking to develop and grow.)
