BNI International Conference
The 2008 BNI International Directors’ Conference was held at the Hyatt Hotel in Long Beach, California from 13th to 15th November 2008. There were 550 BNI Directors and staff in attendance and an impressive 420 BNI members attended the Members Day session.
Fred Johnson energized, inspired, and wowed attendees with his musical performances throughout the event and had the entire crowd joining him in song at times. Keynote speakers included BNI Founder and Chairman Dr Ivan Misner, CEO Norm Dominguez and during the members session, Brian Tracy gave a powerful presentation on “Peak Performance in Turbulent Times”. The BNI-Misner Foundation saw US $54,000 donated/pledged at the International Conference to continue to support children’s educational projects around the world.
BNI New Zealand received two awards during the conference – one for having the highest growth for countries with less that 100 chapters and the other for having the highest market penetration out of all of the 40 countries where BNI operates. Paul & Rosemary Meyer - NZ Directors for South East Auckland, received an award for outstanding team performance.
