No more mould!
The last time I visited the BNI Nelson chapter – I heard a great memory hook from John Shaw - a specialist shower installer. His closing comment at the end of his 60 seconds was “I want to see you in one of my showers!”
Well – his wish came true today (sort of) – as we have just used the services of his organisation to have our showers fitted with shower domes. If you have not heard of a shower dome yet – I can tell you that it is a remarkable example of Kiwi ingenuity. It is basically an acrylic dome that sits over the top of your shower – with the effect of keeping the steam inside the shower – as opposed to steaming up the bathroom. As steam and cold air mix to give rise to water vapour – by keeping the steam in the shower – you get no condensation. Inside the shower – there is no difference – you don’t get a steamy shower as there is no cold air – however the bathroom stays dry and after using the shower for the first time this evening – even the bathroom mirror was still clear at the end of my shower.
