About
Welcome to the BNI blog
This blog is the initiative of BNI New Zealand to share valuable information, thoughts, reflections, trends and news on networking, social capital and relationship marketing – and to share our philosophy of how we are part of the change in the way the world does business.
Our philosophy has been summed up by Anita Roddick of the BodyShop:
“In terms of power and influence, you can forget the church, forget politics. There is no more powerful institution in society than business – I believe it is now more important than ever before for business to assume a moral leadership. The business of business should not be about money, it should be about responsibility. It should be about public good, not private greed.”
We have a goal of assisting businesses to develop and grow in a sustainable and ethical way.
Our authors are leading networkers, writers, business people and futurists who are passionate about leading the change in the way the world does business.
For our BNI members this blog allows you to access lots of news, advice and information about ways to gain the most value from your membership of BNI and networking in general.
We encourage you to ‘subscribe’ to the blog’s feed so you’re updated automatically when we add new posts to the blog.
We look forward to your feedback, comments and discussions on the blog and the posts themselves.
